It was very nice hotel. Rooms were big, clean and quiet and the North Railway Station was only few minutes walk away. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone!

The Hotel Am Augarten was satisfactory but the distance from the central Ring Strasse area required riding two trollies in hot, humid weather and sometimes rain. We switched to the delightful Hotel Wiener Staatsoper for the final three nights of our stay. For an additional 31 USD per night the accommodations were perfect and the address could not have been more conveniently located.

Looking for the red light district with easy access to Vienna's Big Wheel? Look no further, this hotel is the one for you. Lap top dancing is available just next door and though you may frown now it could well be that the gyrating neighbours will be a lot more accomodating when it comes to room service than this staff is! A fairly basic breakfast is on offer but we found that the preferable option would have been to eat it straight off the table cloth since the crockery was so smeared with previous meals. An adequate place to sleep, comfy beds and spacious room to dance in but definitely the 'no frills' end of the hotel spectrum.

I was very pleased with the hotel. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. I was amazed at how convenient it was to get to all the tourists sites from the hotel. There were also lots of shops and restaurants just around the corner.

I was surprised at how spacious our room was. everything else gets high marks as well!
