We booked a room in this hotel in December 2003 but at the arrival, we were informed that the hotel was overbooked. The hotel Post, however, arranged for us another hotel closed to the Center and paid the taxi for us. One can imagine that something like this may happen during the busy Christmas time, so we did not object. To our suprice, we arrived to the family hotel with one star (Post has three) and learned that they booked a room without a bathroom for us. You can imagine the shock we experienced whe we heard that mainly taking into account the money we paid for our stay. To be objective, we have to say that they were suppriced to hear that as well and, I think, felt assamed that they had to offer us such room. Despite of that they were still not willing to tell us how much they charge for their rooms. After discussing this for long time (including long phone calls with Post), the matter was settled (we got some money back and got better room). We also have to addmit that the personnel of new hotel was very helpfull and friendly. You can imagine, however, that we do not appreciate the arrangement made by Post.

Hotel is very well situated, only 5 minutes from St. Stephens. Staff at front desk (reception) were friendly and helpful. Room was very small, but clean and functional; bathroom with shower, small TV, phone. Bed (single bed) was short and not suitable for a tall person - luckily for me, I am not very tall. Breakfast was very hearty - more than continental breakfast in quaint and clean cafe. Cereals, buns, croissants and bread, hard boiled eggs, cheese, cold cuts, fruit, yogurt, coffee and orange juice. This is by first visit to Vienna.The location is very nice . Very close to the shopping center and all museums.Also it is very close to the metro station.My room is very nice and wide.Also the staff is perfect.

Excellent experience, beautiful rooms, good breakfast, superb staff, extremely accomodating with individual requests for assistance and services. Excellent location, close to transportation and sites but also quiet and peaceful.

Satyed in begining of May (also at Hotel Alpha). Overall good place. We got the one room with a baclony, which was nice. Not much of a view, but quiet area. Excellent location (2 minute walk to Swedenplatz metro/tram stop). Room adequate but on the small side. Bathroom was small with stand up shower. Room had TV, hairdryer (may have had phone??). Very friendly staff. Would reccomend.

I can't beleive we got such a beautiful hotel at this price. I wish I had rooms with ceilings like that at home. great service.
